From Fiumicino and Termini to your Vatican-area apartment
Your transfer ends at the apartment door, not at the station. Plan the airport connection, the city journey and access to the home as separate steps to choose the most practical route.
From Fiumicino: choose the rail connection first
Leonardo express is the direct train service between Fiumicino and Roma Termini. Trenitalia provides current departures, tickets and service information. The train journey does not include collecting luggage, walking through the airport, waiting or reaching the apartment afterwards.
Avoid relying on the last connection solely because it fits your scheduled landing time. With children or several suitcases, compare the complete journey with a properly booked road transfer and check its price and conditions with the provider.
From Termini to the correct door
The three apartments have separate addresses. The links below open routes from Roma Termini so you can compare public transport and alternatives for your travel time. Do not enter only “Domus” into a map search: several unrelated Rome properties have similar names.

Luggage, connections and self check-in
Save the full address and the host’s instructions before leaving the station. Keep the contact details for your booking accessible and check that your phone will work on arrival. Include the walk between your stop and the building when comparing routes, particularly with a pushchair or heavy luggage.
Self check-in starts at 15:00. Reaching Rome in the morning does not mean the apartment is ready or that luggage storage is available. Ask in advance about an earlier arrival; for an evening arrival, make sure you have received all access instructions.
Plan the airport journey home
Work backwards from the arrival time requested by your airline rather than the flight departure alone. Recheck transport the day before and allow time for the city leg of the journey. Apartment check-out is by 10:00; discuss any different requirements with the host in advance.
